A new beginning for independent adults with special needs in our community!

The Geraldine Rubia Centre is excited to announce that we will be launching a pilot program in early 2024 that will allow independent adults with special needs to visit our centre regularly without the assistance of a worker. Inclusivity has always been at the heart of our centre, and we hope that this program will allow more independent adults with a disability in our community to socialize, play games, learn new skills, and enjoy life!

We are in the process of setting up an independent living committee that will oversee clients visiting our centre. If you have questions about this committee, or if you would like to volunteer with The Geraldine Rubia Centre, give us a call or stop by our office!
